Please read carefully before making any booking with us, as this is a legally binding agreement.

By booking a photography tour, workshop, or expedition with Shivam Photofarm (referred to as “we,” “our,” or “the company”), and by paying a deposit or signing up for any of our programs, you (“the participant”) agree to the following terms and conditions:

1. Bookings & Payments:

All bookings are made directly with Shivam Photofarm, based in India.
Your booking is confirmed only after we receive the specified deposit. This deposit is non-refundable, unless we can replace your spot with another participant, in which case a full refund will be issued.

Full payment is due 90 days prior to the start of the tour or workshop. For bookings made within 90 days of departure, full payment is required at the time of booking.

Payment methods accepted include bank transfer, Wise, or PayPal (fees to be borne by the participant). All prices are listed in USD, inclusive of applicable taxes.

Please note that rates may vary among participants depending on the time of booking or promotions. Once your booking is confirmed, future discounts will not apply retroactively.

2. Insurance:

All participants are required to have international travel insurance purchased from the companies of their native country that covers medical emergencies, accidents, evacuation, and trip cancellations. Proof of insurance may be requested before departure.
It is your responsibility to verify coverage, including for photography-related travel, equipment loss, and cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances.

3. Cancellations & Refunds:

• Deposits are non-refundable.
• Cancellations made after full payment will not be refunded unless a replacement participant is found.
• No refunds will be issued for missed days, early departures, delayed arrivals, or unused services.
• If a tour is cancelled due to natural disasters, government restrictions, or pandemics, we will offer a travel credit toward a future tour of your choice, except for any non-recoverable costs from local partners.

We strongly recommend trip cancellation insurance to safeguard your investment.

4. Liabilities & Responsibilities:

Shivam Photofarm is not responsible for injury, loss, damage, delay, or expense due to circumstances beyond our control, including — but not limited to — natural disasters, strikes, accidents, illness, theft, travel restrictions, or government actions.

We reserve the right to alter itineraries, accommodations, or guides if necessary for safety, comfort, or operational reasons. Any such changes do not constitute grounds for a refund.

Participants are responsible for their own behaviour and compliance with local laws. We are not liable for any losses resulting from failure to obtain necessary travel documents such as visas or passports.

5. Legal Jurisdiction:

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of India, and any disputes will be handled exclusively in the courts of Kolkata, West Bengal.

By submitting your deposit or booking form, you acknowledge that you have read and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.

PAYMENT INFORMATION

Booking your spot:

To secure your seat on a Shivam Photofarm photography workshop or expedition, a non-refundable deposit is required. Your booking is confirmed only after the deposit is received.

Payment Methods:

• Bank Transfer (India & International)
• Wise (for international transfers)
• PayPal or Credit Card (on request, with processing fees)

All prices are listed in USD. Payments can be made in INR (for Indian residents) or USD (for international participants) based on the exchange rate of the invoice date.

Balance Payment:

The balance amount is due 90 days before the start date of the tour/workshop. Failure to pay within this period may result in cancellation of your booking without refund.

Banking & Transfer Fees:
All transaction fees (PayPal, Wise, or bank charges) are the responsibility of the participant. Please ensure the full invoiced amount is received by us.

Refund Policy:

• Deposits are non-refundable.
• Full refunds only if your seat is filled by another participant.
• No refunds after the tour/workshop has begun.

Confirmation:
Once your payment is received, you’ll receive an official confirmation email and invoice from Shivam Photofarm.
